The Bus

Even though the bus says it'll be to our house by 3:10, it is never on time. So Tuesday afternoon I grabbed Zoie's small camp chair and had a seat next to the road at the end of the driveway. Soon Vance grabbed his chair & together we sat waiting for the bus. Shortly, bus 14 pulled up & Zoie hopped off. I left the chairs at the end of the driveway so they could be used this morning. It is a great was to mark how far Z & V can stand while waiting for the bus.

Today Zoie was all dressed in pink -- pink pants, shirt, socks, & hair barretts.

This is a great recap of the past week. Vance asks about Zoie, but we keep him busy. We talk about him being Arya's big brother and work on him teaching her things. Today he pains takingly set up his train track. Then while getting the train on the track at one end, little sister crawled over and was disassembling the other end. We just watched until he turned around. Hands to his forehead and saying, "Oh no." He didn't get mad, just tried to get the track pieces out of her clinched hands. About then I picked her up, so he could fix the track. It was most interesting to watch. He's very patient with little sister.

What great pics of big sister, little brother, and the big yellow bus. I find it hard to believe they are growing up so fast! Zoie is just the most precious new schoolgirl ever.
