Celebration ... . . and just the beginning

To celebrate Vance's binkie separation, we went to Big Scoop. Vance had blue bubblegum ice cream and Zoie had cotton candy. I could just smell the sugar from the cotton candy ice cream as she eat it next to me. Ty got the giant banana split, in which he insisted I help finish eating even though I ate my own cone.

On the way home, Zoie and Vance are wacking each other in the back. Then I heard, the MOST famous line of them all,

"Mom, he started it."

I just looked at Ty and laughed. I said to him, "Do you think this will be the only time we ever hear that line?"

And so the adventure of "Who started it?" begins.

Congrats Vance and family. Now I'll bury the one left here. He did enjoy it for Friday's nap. I'd asked Zoie if he was still using one at night and she said, "Yes," but I had a feeling things had changed. Papa is going to separate the carseats, since we know the whacking thing and yes, Vance usually does start it, by lifting the arm on Zoie's seat, ha. We hear the "He's following me" and sometimes the added "make him stop" or "get away." Life is getting interesting. Love the clinched teeth, growl and maybe an added foot stomp when Zoie reaches a frustration point. Have you noticed that little brother is now doing the same thing? Ah, to think it's only the beginning. Love Oma Jean
