Dancing Zoie
At the end of each month, Zoie's dance school has a "watch" day. Thursday was the "watch" day. It was wonder to watch her learning her things. Ballet takes ALOT of concentration and paying attention to details. Zoie is not quite at that stage. But she has learned to skip, a task I could not do in 1st grade. Zoie was better at tap and shuffling her feet. All in all, she is 4 and sure acts like it. The dance teacher does a great job keeping the 11+ girls on task and moving through the class.

Awe, my ballerina. As always, I love your description, particularly the "new" ballet technique. Yup, there are times when she's a four year old and they're precious. Of course, I also love the 14 year old that spends most of the time with us on, "it's your day Oma." I love the twirling thing. Can't believe she doesn't expect us or Vance to do that with her. Friday, while she was using Papa and me as human jungle gyms, we questioned if she did that at the other places. "No, I do it here because you enjoy it." Papa and I bust out laughing and did a "there ya go" head nod. Oma
Great picture sequence Carrie! Zoie is a budding ballerina and looks so graceful. I love the direct look into the camera. Those eyes!!!!
Love,
Aunt Peg
I love the first picture. I used to get a kick out of what the girls would show up to dance in when Emma was in ballet. I think the rule is, the more frills, the better.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm she gets me hard
