Baby Girl

Our ultrasound on Tuesday showed us wonderful images of the baby and that it is a girl. It was cool to see the heart beating 152 beats per minute, which is good, and moving around. I saw (Ty was very late, traffic and slow cars coming from the westside) her little feet, arms, bones, etc. Now my task is to clean the closet downstairs to see what I have from baby Zoie. Many of the girl clothes were given to those in need -- a pregnant teen at Mount Vernon High School when I was teaching there, a friend, and a co-worker at Bellingham High School. Now I have another student that is also due in late January and if she has a boy, then I will pass on baby Vance clothes. Her face lit up when I told her this today. And no, I don't have a name yet. According to Ty, I get to choose the first name "since that worked so well last time" and he gets the middle name. I do think, though, that he wants the same initals for both girls Z.A.Y. I have 20 more weeks to brainstorm.

Oh congratulations to all...that's fantastic. And as I suspected, Zoie got just what she ordered! Ha! And counting backwards, I think this is a March Madness baby, huh? Hee-hee!

Okay, you know I can't resist this, so here goes. When Ziva showed up on NCIS about 2005, I fell in love with that name. Tiny thought that it would go with Zoie, but never thought too much about it, especially when Vance's gender was found out and he arrived. Then Daddy talked about getting clipped.----- So, here we go again, but with the gender Zoie chose from the get go and maybe it'll work. Ideas---

Ziva-Hebrew-bright,radiant,splendid

Zwaantje-Dutch-little swan--This was Ty's Auntie Susie's Dutch name. Wouldn't that be a dandy?

And the search goes on. ZIVA, I can see that bright, radiant, splendid little girls face already, Oma Jean

Oops, I forgot another main point; Ziva is a combo of Zoie and Vance. Oma Jean

I've been so thrilled you are getting a girl!!! Congrats! We can't wait for her little spirit to light up your home once again.

Lots of love.
