Late Easter Sunday, we had to have our wonderful dog put down. She is now in the resting place with Shadow, as Zoie knows & understands what has happened. Lots of tears from all of us. She was very old and like other big dogs, her hips, were going out and she could not get up the 2 stairs into the house. Bless her soul and all the great times she spent with our family. She will be missed by all of us, especially Zoie and Vance, who just began to interact with her.

We feel your loss. Tagdja and Shadow were great dogs. I remember my apprehension back when they were puppies. Ultimately, it was a not to worry, because they were both sweet and kind. Zoie told us about Tagdja going away this morning. I remember how Tagdja took over Shadow's roll of protector after he was gone. Tagdja was a sweetheart and I know all of you loved her. Oma
Oma said it so well...I feel it too. But it's always worth it for the wonderful times and love you get from doggies. I only met Tagdja a couple of times, but what a sweetheart. She'll be remembered with love and smiles...that's pretty special.
Love,
Auntie Terry
Carrie,
You've been busy posting and I haven't checked for a little while! So much happening in your household! They are all gorgeous. I'm so sorry for the loss of Tagdja. My mom had to put her dog, Sammy down last year, and it about broke our hearts. The kids still talk about her constantly though. I don't think the kids (at least Zoie) will ever forget.
